[Oh right, I have another thing I feel I should mention

Since the trolls were able to make it through the door with no problems, they don’t know the kids in any way. 

Nor did anything that happened on the meteor happen. So the matriorb was never destroyed, Gamzee never had the chance to kill people or go batshit crazy, everything just kind of went okay for them.]

After Karkat’s group beat the game, they actually made it through the door at the end, the one that would grant them passage into the newly-created universe. However instead of “living as gods” as was canon, they’re instead able to be accepted by everybody they come across. So they’re pretty much able to live among humans and do whatever they want; my Karkat obviously took a job as a flight attendant to support himself. Aside from that there’s really no kind of set rules for how interactions go. Any troll can have any job they’d like or do anything they want and the same goes for the kids, and we’d like to be able to get all of the beta kids in here as well as the rest of the trolls. 

Also, everybody’s around the same age; Karkat is 26 where as Nepeta is 25, and my kind of personal idea is that they just pick a random day of a random month of the year to add on an extra year to their age.
